How to find C2C contract jobs (and get replies)
C2C (corp-to-corp) roles move fast: a requirement posted in the morning is often filled by the afternoon. The people who get interviews aren't always the most qualified; they're the ones who reply first with a resume that clearly matches.
Where C2C requirements are posted
- C2C job boards such as nvoids and corptocorp, where vendors post requirements with a contact email.
- LinkedIn posts by recruiters and bench-sales teams (search the role plus "C2C" and sort by latest).
- Dice, Indeed and others: filter for contract roles; many list a recruiter email in the description.
- Vendor mailing lists: once you work with a vendor, they mail you requirements directly.
Spot the real ones
A real requirement has a role, a location or remote note, a duration, must-have skills and a way to apply. Posts that offer "excellent consultants available" or list people's profiles are hotlists, vendors marketing their bench, not jobs. Our free hotlist checker flags them.
Reply fast, and specifically
Send a short mail: the role in the subject, one line saying what you bring for this job (name two or three of the job's own skills), and your resume titled for the role. Follow up once or twice in the same thread if there's no reply.
Don't repeat yourself
The same requirement is often posted by several vendors on several sites. Mailing the same recruiter twice, or getting submitted to the same client by two vendors, hurts you. Keep track of where you applied.
