HireHustle Chrome add-on

Captures LinkedIn posts and job pages (Dice, Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, CareerBuilder) that carry a recruiter's email, and sends them to your HireHustle. Works with the web version and the desktop app. Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer.

1. Unzip it

Open the downloaded hirehustle-addon.zip so you get a folder, and keep that folder somewhere it can stay (for example Documents). Chrome uses it from there.

2. Add it to Chrome

  1. In Chrome's address bar type chrome://extensions and press Enter.
  2. Turn on Developer mode (switch at the top right).
  3. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
  4. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin HireHustle.

3. Connect it to your HireHustle

Web version: in HireHustle open Settings → Web version and copy the Address and Add-on key. Click the HireHustle icon in Chrome → Connection, paste both, and click Save connection. It should say Connected ✓.

Desktop app: nothing to connect. Leave Connection empty and keep the app open.

4. Use it

Browse LinkedIn (your feed, post search, Jobs) or open a job page. Posts with a recruiter email reach HireHustle within a second, and the icon shows how many were added today.

Questions

Chrome warns about "Developer mode extensions". That's normal for an add-on installed from a folder; click the x. A Chrome Web Store version is planned.

It says it can't reach HireHustle. Check the address and key in Connection (web), or that the app is open (desktop).
